Empire Construction Canada was able to finish a full house renovation as well as adding a legal basement suite, where our creativity and effective use of space can be seen. This project not only reinvigorated the core living area but also made a functional suite in the basement which could be used for renting or for a multi generational family.
Exterior Update
The outer appearance of the house was changed with paint, window and a well designed entrance porch. They help create a new image of the property and make the appearance more inviting as well as increasing its appeal.
Main Floor Renovation
The main floor was redone from the ground up and it now has a more contemporary, free-flowing design. Key features include:
- Living Room: The living room was modernized with new contemporary lighting, flooring and its appearance was minimalist. The area is now well lit and warm and can well be used for family functions or just relaxing.
- Kitchen: The kitchen was refitted with new furniture, new stainless-steel utensils and new elegant countertops. It was design for functionality with style and elegance and it was placed where everyone in the kitchen stopped and interacted.
Bathroom: Contemporary white bathroom with elegant finishings, a glass enclosure for the shower and beautiful tiles were installed. The structure of this house goes deeper to meet the need of people’s lives in a more efficient and lovely way.
Legal Basement Apartment
This project’s focal point is the legalization of a basement apartment. This unit includes:
- Separate Entrance: Another feature of the interior design was to provide the possibility of entering the basement unit from the backyard so the basement unit should be fully separated from the main floor.
- Living Space: Basement living area is also equipped with new floor, new ceiling lights and the color of the walls is non conspicuous. It offers tenant or guest accommodation convenience.
- Kitchen: The kitchen area was provided with all the appliances, storage space and equipped in accordance to contemporary design to be a completely living entity.
Bedroom and Bathroom: The bedroom is spacious and the windows are newer, the bathroom has installed expensive looking fixtures and the bathroom makes the home comfortable to dwell in.
Functional Enhancements
Besides, other bonuses of this basement apartment include having possibly a stacked laundry unit, lots of storage and efficiently zoned utility rooms would be appreciated by potential tenants.
